California Sandwiches - Etobicoke

Another good location in the California Sandwiches chain. But boy things have gotten expensive over the years. Two veal sandwiches, each with a few toppings, and a couple of drinks is over $30.<br/ <br/ It seems there are some new toppings and now even a new sandwich, pork schnitzel. Might be worth a try if I can ever bring myself to NOT order a veal! :

Typical. Always busy at lunch. The food hasn't changed in years. Price is a little high for what it is though. I'll probably go back at some point.

Amazing Italian Sandwiches. Had the meatball sandwich, garden salad, and tiramisu. The sandwich was amazing, nice juicy meatballs in marinara sauce with jalapeño peppers and onions on a warm toasted bun. Salad was good with an excellent dressing. Some sort of balsamic dressing. Tiramisu was great too, but very rich. Would recommend sharing. Even maybe Sharing the sandwich. It's huge!

This California Sandwiches location has no hot table but I find the sandwiches here are slightly better then some of the other locations. I always have to get my california sandwich weekly fix, a hot veal with cheese, onions and mushrooms

A great franchise with delicious sandwiches and their hot plate items are very tasty as well. It is definitely one of the best veal sandwiches in the city.
