The food is rather abysmal especially for the price they charge. It's like any other Colorado restaurant, they have 1 or 2 good things but expect to pay out the ass to order them. My wife asked if the bolognese would be enough food or if she should order the chowder. The waitress lied and said the portion was small and to order the chowder. Just up selling us. This place is like the gas station right off the highway.

What a gem! We had the best dinner here while visiting RMNP. The ambiance is great. The service was excellent. Mina was our service she was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She was attentive and everything was out from the kitchen super fast. We were unable to decide on just one thing each, because the menu is so unique and everything sounded good! We started with a butter lettuce salad that was crisp, fresh, and delicious. I would have loved to try the cornbread as well but I knew we had a lot of food coming! For dinner we ordered the sweet potato gnocchi and a collection of things from the shareables: the elk strip, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potato rounds. The stand outs were the gnocchi and the elk strip. The elk was buttery and flavorful. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked the pesto like sauce was delicious! These Paired with a glass of wine I was in heaven. After seeing the dessert list, we couldn't say no! We ordered decaf coffee which came in a French press. At the recommendation of Mina, we ordered the bread pudding. The serving is huge we were about to take half home (which I am very much looking forward to enjoying!! . I have no doubt every dessert was delicious, so I am looking forward to coming back to try more. Overall, this is a must if you are in the area.

Excellent restaurant! Both the food and service were superb. Nice portions. We enjoyed our meal very much.

We shared multiple small plates which were all excellent. Drinks were tasty and the server made excellent recommendations. Check out the elk on the shared menu and skip the dessert.
