Bidrage med feedbackThe customer service is really bad. I had to call my credit card. I haven't received the deposit yet. the lush in the curse was so dirty, how are the 4 stars? too much light in the room in the morning they have half a customs gap between the curtains and the side window. I couldn't sleep over 6 o'clock. it took 35 minutes to check. for the first time and for the last time for us!
I always loved the esterel, but at my last visit, very disappointing. I had booked via booking an emotional suite overlooking the lake and once arrived at the hotel told me that my reservation is changing on the garden. I show them my proof of e-mail booking, but he didn't want to know anything by telling me that the hotel was complete and that the fault was made by booking. I wanted to have a refund of the difference for the view of the garden vs overlooking the lake and I had to obey the staff members who were simply not qualified. I'm promised to be seen on the lake the next day after a suite is released. I come back the next day with the crowded welcome and told me that I never heard anything like the day before and that the hotel is full anyway. I ask if I have the right to any compensation, and not it is the fault of booking, again by obstinating me, I am given a gift certificate of $100 on a package purchase only, for a next time. I called once I left to let him tell me that everything is the fault of the hotel because they had the right reservation and sent them. they contacted the hotel that he told them that he had already defuncted me! more; excessively expensive room service! bathing too small, sleeves arrive at elbows and never towels available near the spa.
Updating my review duto excellent customer service. My first time at Esterel a few years ago was amazing. This time, our room lacked a bit of maintenance but overall wasn't so bad (leaky faucet, dusty,. Some pieces of glass on the floor. The hotel needs abit of a refresh. The evening we arrived, a reception was blocking the entire lobby preventing people from going down to the pools. Luckily it was only one evening. We have to say, the staff was friendly and very attentive to everyone. Excellent customer service post stay. They really take it to make people happy.
Very beautiful place, the pools are superb the resto chais 58 is excellent, but in the morning it is impossible to rest, it slams the doors and it screams in the corridor, in addition the room service is wrong of room and storing at my door. In the evening you can't take a drink, no bar to do, atmosphere 0. And they charge you $25 to leave at noon. It's really too expensive for what you get. one night for $500 it's really exaggerated
STRESS AND PROBLEMS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! At arrival, Reception was not ready: computers etc still not turned on, it was about 3pm.They said I had to book for my sunday breakfast, then they said they were fully booked, then they told me to come at 1pm(service finishes at 2pm), when I came, at 12:45, the restaurant was almost empty, one of the staff told me that I didnt need reservations for breakfast, I needed for brunch. I had my kids hungry until 1pm and I stressed half of the day. When I was at the reception at arrival, I asked for 2 more bathrobes well, they gave the robes to me to bring by myself with all the hand luggage at checkin… not very thoughtful staff. And the robes they gave me shrunk so bad, it was like kids size (actual size L/XL) Not quality goods for a 4star hotel. My stay of 2 nights was actually 2 separate bookings one with expedia and the other directly with the Hotel because expedia had no more rooms available to extend the stay. I mentioned this at every occasion I had. Everyone said everything is ok. The next morning, I had the pressentiment that I would have trouble, so I called reception with no answer. So I physically went to the reception. There were no line ups, why did they not pick up the phone? Had to tell my story again. She had to cancel my keys, gave me new ones, and i was told to tell the cleaning team on my floor to not clean my room. I had to look for the cleaning team and tell them, but the problem was that the cleaning team didn’t understand english or french which made it complicated and stressfull for me. I really wish that the reception would have communicated the info to their team instead of having customers run around spreading information. Staff is not dedicated to customers. On the last night, i ordered room service at around 6pm, for a delivery at 8:30pm. At 8:45, i tried to call room service to make sure that they hadn’t forgotten about our order. They never picked up the phone, so I called reception. They told me that if I had a question for room service, I better go downstairs to physically ask my question. Well, that defeats the purpose of getting room service? Reception then told me the delivery would probably be at least half an hour late. Food finally came a little after 9pm, with the wrong pizza. The waitress said she would come back with the right one. We had time to finish our dinner, the kids had the time to eat the mistake pizza with no pleasure, it was so late and the replacement pizza didnt get to us yet. So we called room service to cancel: no surprise, room service didnt pick up the phone. So we called reception. The lady at reception tried to help and was also telling us that whatever problem we had with the restaurant, she couldn’t do anything about it. The replacement pizza finally came, we cancelled and the waitress left upset with the replacement pizza. Our room was nice, nice view of the lake, some patio doors didnt have locks. The bathroom lacks privacy because of the glass door, had no switch to turn on the fan. We were missing some drinking glasses (sets of 2 when we were 4) The pools were nice. We went for massages at the Amerispa. The morning of checkout around 9am/9:30am someone from the cleaning team knocked on my door, when I opened the guy was uncomfortable and quickly left saying “I thought there was nobody, that’s why I knocked, sorry” We felt like Cleaning team rushed us to get out. Finally, before checking out, I knew I needed to check all the details on my invoice at reception before leaving and of course, there was a mistake, they overcharged me 100$ on the Amerispa massage. (I had 100$ out of the 370$ service paid in giftcards, but they still charged me that 100$)I would love to rate it better, but I cant so i’ll give it 1 star because we cant give zero stars and because they did have nice rooms and nice outdoor pools. The lack of service, training, knowledge, dedication is the biggest shade to the hotel. This doesnt feel like a 4star hotel. Weekend cost about 1400$I unfortunately don’t recommend this place.
