Red Fire American Grill - Essington

Had the cheese steak and some frits. Great Finnish for a long day. Try one you won't regret!

We really enjoyed it, was surprisingly quiet, although it is a restaurant in a fully booked hotel. Liquor selection was a little limited, but they had what I wanted, so no complaints.

Was already in Stingers on the Waterfront, but closed on Monday, so Google Maps showed Red Fire American Grill, which we visited tonight. At Clarion Hotel near the airport we went in, was told to sit wherever we wanted and our server was very nice, not excessively friendly, but still polite. As the only server and bartender, she had her hands full of the few tables she had. I ordered the tomatoes basil soup. It was creamy, hot and pretty good. My girl ordered a chicken quesadilla she didn't care. Drinks were immediately refilled without asking. The dining area is not the most beautiful, but it was okay. The bathroom of the men at the hotel was very clean.

The breakfast buffet was just sad. Few options and bad ones on this Stale/Dry bread, overdone bacon, gumy agitator, among others.

Ordered and never served. It is not the Hostess Server Cook Cashier error! Apparently, the company is too cheap to rent additional help as it only one person wore various hats. It reminded me of one of these shows where you end up in a one-lane city, and the Sherriff is also the judge, and the mechanic, and the hairdresser etc. There was an influx of hotel guests waiting to sit and serve, where is the staff in this facility!?
