Dale Boca Cafe - Essex

I discovered this restaurant on the Localvore app, and I'm so glad I did! It's a very cozy spot. The food is phenomenal, and the owners and staff prepare and serve their dishes with great passion and attention to detail. The empanadas were a definite highlight! I can't wait to return!

The restaurant offers generous gluten-free rice dishes that are bursting with flavor and very affordable. Each meal comes with a soup, making it an even better deal. The staff are friendly, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I accidentally stumbled in during the free hours after closing and was invited to a music night, where I ended up joining in on a birthday celebration! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. I can't believe I hadn't discovered Dale Boca sooner—I'm so excited it's just a few minutes away from my workplace. It's a must-visit for a hearty Latin breakfast or lunch!

Yum! If you saw this place pop up on Main St in Winooski recently and keep going to yourself 'ooh, I really should try that place ' then do yourself a favor and GO! I kept walking past and wish I 'd gone in sooner. I think my husband and I have a new go-to spot, especially in the colder months when we 're looking for filling, warm comfort food. Affordable enough to be a 'let 's grab dinner ' place for us and not a 'once in a while date night ' place. It 's cozy and delicious and has a bunch of vegetarian dishes that don 't feel like a comprise or like a 'less-than ' option at all.

First experience with Argentinian food, so nothing to compare to. Got the carne empanada and milanesa sandwich, both delicious. Not sure what the sauce on sandwich was, but really good. First time also having chimichurri sauce, quite addicting. My only complaint is the price of the empanadas, $3.50 for one.
