America’s Best Wings - Essex

I ordered a cheese steak sub with French fries and a drink. The sub had way more lettuce and bread than meat, and the fries were overcooked. The girl at the register charged me $14.09 but only gave me $6.00 back. Where’s my 91 cents? I will never go back there again.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The customer service here is extremely poor. My husband and I ordered our food and ended up waiting for over 45 minutes. When my husband requested some compensation for the long wait, the cashier, who barely spoke any English, called her manager, who was completely unhelpful. We ended up missing our lunch break. Businesses like this really need to take notice! We will definitely not be returning.

I ordered the grilled three-piece catfish, and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned with lemon and garlic. The food was fresh and served hot. I understand the restaurant is under new management, but everything remains the same—the food is still excellent and the service is great. Prices have increased a bit, but that's to be expected these days, isn't it?

I live on the eastern shore and when I come to visit my daughter I make sure to order wings. Every flavor I've ordered has be excellent.
