Chez Scow - Essaouira

As we departed from the port area, we discovered a cluster of restaurants offering fresh fish and seafood from this charming seaside village. One of these eateries is The Chez Scow Restaurant. Before dining at Joto, customers must first visit the fishing area to handpick their fish and seafood caught that very morning. The dish is then expertly prepared in less than 20 minutes. We highly recommend this unique experience, as it offers some of the finest fish in the country and is an integral part of Essaouira's gastronomy.

Just as we leave the port area, we come across half a dozen restaurants where we can taste the fish and seafood of this beautiful fishing village. One of these restaurants is known as Restaurant Chez Scow. Just before entering and sitting down to eat, we must go to the fish market area where we can choose one or several freshly caught fish and seafood from that same morning, which will be grilled for us in less than 20 minutes. We definitely recommend this experience 100% as it offers some of the best seafood in the country and is a part of Essaouira's gastronomy.
