Old World Meat Company - Escondido

Worth making a special trip to eat here! My husband and I live in Oceanside and came here for lunch today. We were so impressed by the quality/portion of the food, as well as the friendly owners, Bosko and Laura. We both had the sausage plate with all of the Balkan fixings (feta, peppers, onions, and wonderfully seasoned . The cole slaw had a nice vinegarette type dressing. We also split an order of fries (great portion for sharing . The pita was hands down the best I've ever had in my life, and the handmade sausages were so flavorful (that's coming from a Polish girl with high standards ? . We'll definitely be back!

Legit local spot! Amazing food, amazing people. I had the “Old World Burger Dog” and “Old World Pork Plate”, both Balkan Style. Delicious. The vibe was great, with both owners present and happy to chat. Will 100% be back!

Holy smokes! What a great bbq spot. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food. Their hotdogs have no casings. A lot of their meat is a wonderful mix of beef and pork. And the weekends their food is cooked over a wood fire bbq. Amazing.

What an amazing restaurant and wonderful family business. We just happened to stop in while traveling through town. The love and passion from the owners showed through in every ingredient. I wish we could stay in town long enough to try everything.

Absolute Gem! Food was so bomb! We ordered the burger and the Italian sub. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out!
