Bidrage med feedbackI was here several times to eat sushi. You have vegan sushi creations that you can't find anywhere else in Luxembourg. However, they also have a lot of vegan mock meat and vegan seafood that are clearly marked. I had the vegan beef with vegetables. The Mock beef has no strong taste, but together with the sauce and vegetables it makes a good alternative. Unfortunately, the vegan chicken alternative does not have the right consistency, yet the right taste. There are many better vegan chicken alternatives on the market. The menu offers all the possibilities of transposition of dishes in vegan version. No guests are hurt. The aromas are well diversified and the products are fresh. The assortment of vegan sushi (17 pieces for 20,50€, 10/11/2022) is very good and roborative.
If you want Asian cuisine, this is the right place. The restaurant is not in Luxembourg city, but it is worth it. They offer a whole menu of veganized Asian dishes such as Beijing duck, Mock chicken and even offer Mock fish. There is plenty of space for several visits. #Veganuary Edit: went back and tried some other items on their menu. This time it was about the vegan cattle calamar. Both were really delicious, especially because it was seasoned together! Also asked to make the beef nicely spicy to meet with my spiciness level! Edit: went back to this beautiful restaurant that offers a fully vegan menu. This time I choose the “Seafood Pot” after a certain reflection. The appearance was beautiful and it consisted of scampis, tofu and squid. I didn't get a wahoo factor in my mouth. So, regardless of my assessment based on a personal perspective, I still have the taste and would recommend trying it safely. A little minus point this time is that my friend (the vegetarian is) choose the buffet and there were not many choices for him this time. Updated by previous rating on 2022-04-08
If you are craving asian cuisine, this is the right spot. The restaurant is not in Luxembourg city, but it’s worth the trip. They offer a whole menu of veganized asian dishes such as Peking duck, mock chicken and even offer mock fish. There is plenty room for several visits. Edit: went back trying out some other items on their menu. This time went for the vegan beef calamar. Both were really tasty, especially because it was together seasoned! Also asked to make the beef nicely spicy in order to fulfill with my spiciness level! Edit: went back to this lovely restaurant which offers a fully vegan menu. This time, after some apprehension, I choose the “seafood pot”. The looks were nice and it was composed of scampis, tofu and squid. I didn’t get any wahoo factor in my mouth. So independently of my review, which is based on a personal perspective, I still did like the taste and would recommend to give it a try, for sure. Little minus point this time is that my friend (who is vegetarian) choose the buffet and there weren’t a lot of choices for him this time. Edit: This time, we went for the entire vegan “fish” and the wok of “scampi” in Thai basil sauce. First of all, the looks of the “fish” was nicely done, since it really had the appearance of the softened fish skin. Taste-wise, by using seaweed, it’s also allowed to give it a “fishy” taste. It was also a decent portion. Secondly, with regard to the scampis, they were also very lookalike, and very slippery. Taste-wise I would say it was less close than the fish, but it was still surprising. But I need to say that, despite my good skills with chopsticks, it was quite difficult to grab them, haha. Last but not least, on the menu Thai basil was marked as spicy, and I asked to make it decently more spicier, however, I had to ask some additional chili oil to bring it up to my spiciness level. Update: To my biggest regret, I need to downgrade my POV on this Asian place regarding their vegan options. I used to go here with a lot of enthusiasm, because they had a big special vegan menu. But lately, I noticed that these special meals have been removed from their menu due to a change in owner and chef. Therefore, they have become like other Asian restaurants, with just some regular vegetarian/vegan options such as vegetable noodles or fried rice. The only nice vegan option they kept are the sushis. Really nice staff and nice ambience. There were lots of vegan options such as standard tofu and vegetable but also different vegan “meat” like chicken, beef, duck, fish and seafood. Everything was super tasty and although some of the dishes are a bit pricey it is worth it for sure and very good portions. #Veganuary Update Feb 2024: only 4 vegan options left with no mock meats, only tofu/veg. Tasted nice but wouldn’t travel just for this restaurant again! Updated from previous review on 2022-03-23
