Juniper Moon In Des Mo

The bar is beautiful. The bartender/gm is so grouchy, I assume he puts spit in the simple syrup so everybody gets some.

Cool spot, better in warmer months when the outdoor seating is available (limited indoor seating). Staff is great and the cocktails are well made.

We are from Phoenix (originally from Orange County, CA and Baltimore, MD) and in visiting Des Moines, IA, stopped into this gem. Great drinks, conversation and atmosphere. Will star this location for the next time we are out in Des Moines.

Wow the atmosphere here is amazing and the bartender was on point! Don't be afraid to ask for a drink suggestion. if you want a place to chill out, then head to juniper moon. the indoor and outdoor seating is amazing. I tried 4 different specialty bourbon drinks and they were all very unique and interesting.
