Mayo Roll Japanese - Erlanger

Tried this place for the first time. It was good for the price. Love the Florence roll. No one was eating there so I was a little worried, but it was good.

Everything was okay. Nothing too fancy, the lack of music and other patrons made it seem a little odd. The food was just okay and seemed a little warm compared to other sushi restaurants. The place was updated and clean. Bathroom didn't have hot water or heat.

I really like the eat24 ability to order. I work just around the block and it is so handy to be able to order and pay online and pick up fresh sushi on a 30 min lunch break. I do wish there were more roll options but what they have is very tasty and fresh!

Great place!! Was so excited to find out they have Spicy Chicken Bul go gi like at Riverside Korean! It isn't as good but pretty good! Half price sushi at lunch

Well the buliding that formerly housed Double Dragon and Thai Chili now houses Mayo Roll. The outside of the building remains unchanged although the inside got done up a little bit. The service was top notch as well. Now I had not had much sushi in my life before this as I was a little leary to try it but I have a different opinion after this meal. I got a plate called the Spicy California Roll plate which consisted of 8 California rolls topped with spicy crab, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. It had some really epic flavour as the crab was prevalent and the spicy mayo really worked here. Not overpowering but had a decent kick. Also have to mention the Sunday Morning Roll that my wife let me try that had smoked salmon and cream cheese in addition to the eel sauce and spicy mayo. Simply delightful. My main course was the Spicy Bulgo Korean Pork Plate which was stir fried pork marinated in a special Korean bbq sauce. Definitely another magnificent plate as the meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a darn good one. Kind of sweet smoky sorta taste. The prices are very reasonable as they do half off of their sushi nearly all of the time if not all of the time (saved me a lot of money for sure. I really have no negatives to speak of from here. High recommendation.
