A very good restaurant overall. The highlights were the duck dumplings, which were unique and delicious, the beef cubes with perfectly balanced sauce and topped with fried garlic, and the crab croquettes that were beautifully cooked—light and tender. However, the tuna in the sashimi platter was a bit frozen. The staff were excellent and promptly replaced our tuna, which was just right the second time. We appreciated their attentive service. I did feel that the sashimi was cut a little too thick, but it remained enjoyable, especially the sweet and juicy scallops. All in all, I would give it a solid 4 stars.

I’ve been hearing wonderful things about Yume from friends and family, and today, we finally got the chance to try it for ourselves. We enjoyed a fantastic selection of dishes, including Prawn Nanban, Assorted Tempura, Chicken Karaage, and Salmon Miso Chevies – all of which were incredibly delicious! The warm and friendly staff, along with the impressive skill of the chef who personally prepares each meal, made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We’re definitely planning to come back and highly recommend Yume to everyone.

My recent experience at Yume Modern Japanese Restaurant was overshadowed by hurried service and a general lack of regard for customers. Even though we had a reservation, we were quickly asked to leave to make room for walk-in guests, which gave us less than an hour to enjoy our meal. To make matters worse, on my birthday, they would not allow me to order dessert or even take one to go. A simple request for an extra cup to share tea was also turned down. Overall, it was a disappointing visit that I cannot recommend.

I always look forward to coming here after a days work and it never disappoints. Stanley is a talented chef and is in there every day! Would recommend to anyone. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Way too Expensive. Unnecessarily expensive for the quality of the food. Menu was very confusing, staff were abrupt and made the food ordering even more bewildering. Gyozas were ok, Beef Short rib was ok but honestly reckon I could do better at home, teriyaki chicken was ok. The prices are frankly outrageous compared to the calibre of the dishes. Service: Dine in
