Bidrage med feedbackWe enjoy the atmosphere and privacy of the café garden, as well as the friendliness of the staff. The coffee is typically high quality, but it seemed to have missed the mark this morning.
I always have an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is one of my favorites along the coast, and the coffee is excellent. I absolutely love this place.
A cozy atmosphere that adds to the charm. The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
The place is now called Cornerstone Coutryard Cafe and is run by the Christian bookshop attached. Open 9 - 4pm Mon - Fri and 9 - 1pm Saturdays. It seems to be the aim of the new management to provide a peaceful setting for visitors, so they don't take bookings and don't cater for groups. Service is on a first-come basis. Table settings are only organised for no more than 4 people at each.A friend who lives locally took me and the building is very impressive. It was pouring down when we went (leftovers from Cyclone Debbie no doubt) so eating outside wasn't an option, but inside tastefully decorated, but as I was warned, the coffee grinder and blender are very loud if sitting near the servery. We sat near the window, so overlooked the garden which had canopies over the tables, but useless in that weather. We got there about 10.30 and it was reasonably quiet (the weather!) and I ordered scrambled egg which took quite a while to be served. By noon the place was getting crowded - still peaceful, but with outside seating unavailable, hard to get a table. Not the fault of the staff. The bookshop attached was quite large and had a wide range of gifts suitable even for non-Christians.
I really love this place. Have been coming here for many years. The garden area is very peaceful. The overall atmosphere is relaxing, except when the coffee beans are being ground, then its really noisy. The food is good and tasty, but more variety, other than vegetarian would be nice.
