Bidrage med feedbackReally cool place, only stopped by to grab some take away snacks for the road. Great service, good prices. Cakes were delicious... If they have the apple cake loaf just buy a slice, it's divine and mega gooey! Be careful though... It's also an organic food shop, and if you're anything like me, you'll accidently end up buying lots in there because it is a great store!
I was too early for lunch but unable to resist the just out of the oven pastry I spotted. It turned out to be a delicious and flavourful delight stuffed with pumpkin and coconut, clearly no cane sugar to beat up the other flavours and a delight for the tastebuds. I also took a berry muffin away and it was fluffy and moist, a very elegant dessert. This modest little place is tucked away and could be easily missed but is somewhere I would walk the 30 minutes in this scorching Portuguese summer heat again to dine at. As someone who has been vegan for 35 years and dined in many places, that really is an accolade.
This was a really neat establishment. It’s an organic VEGAN grocery store and a small restaurant in one. The food was amazing. Everything was organic and very high quality (basically whole food plant based style). One of the best vegan restaurants we tried in Portugal. Highly recommended.
Every single dish I had at Be U is just incredible. You can feel the energy and effort that the staff puts in every bite you take : They have from Monday to Saturday a dish of the day, a soup, a tempeh burger (that is AMAZING and sometimes a tofu quiche (that I am not even talk about . You can add up to your meal one of their sugar free cakes, that are still super tasty. I highly recommend the Banana Bread! Not being only a restaurant, they also have a shop with local and organic products, tons of variety for your groceries.
The food was excelent and cooked with love. Great portions per price. Lot of vegan cakes and snacks. Muffins were exceptional! There is also organic shop with lot of staff in the same spaces
