China-Restaurant Pavillon - Erfurt

Looks good. We were there around 19:45 and more than half of the buffet dishes were empty. If they are asked if they are refilled, we will of course be told. Nothing happened. We paid the full price for Soe oily fried snacks and rice there was no sushi, no main courses, no vegetables and no desserts except tinted fruit salad, some pieces of melon and finished ice cream. Wouldn't recommend that. This money is better spent elsewhere.

The restaurant has a very central location near the main railway station. The staff is friendly. The menu has the typical dishes you would expect from a Chinese restaurant, they seem to focus on their buffet offer. The dishes are inexpensive, quality is ok, but it didn't really upset me... The hot soup was quite spicy (I like spicy and reminded a little of East German Soljaka soup, not what you would expect to taste it. The duck with peanut sauce, mixed vegetables and noodles came separated with the sauce (which is good because the duck remains crisp. However, the vegetables and noodles, where quite tasteless. The peanut sauce was good, but much too hot (almost as hot as in the microwave again heated... . Overall, ok for fast food stop if hungry, but nothing special that would think of me a trip back...

Very rare to find in Thueringen, an excellent restaurant. All foods here are made by real Chinese cookers, not the fake Vietnamese food! It is a certain value that comes from time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time, time
