My friend I had the pensioners lunch. Excellent value for money. We were very impressed. Staff were very pleasant helpful too.

We had our dad's wake there, the food was lovely, sausage rolls were delicious, the bread used for the sandwiches was very tasty, plenty of choice, it was well presented and all of the staff were very accommodating and helpful, would definitely recommend the Cat n Fiddle.

Having lived in Kirk Hallam for my entire 41 years this has always been my local. I've seen the place evolve over the years and also loved working here when my children were you ger. I can honestly say that the current management and team are my favourites! Having recently undergone a refurbishment, the place looks clean and welcoming and the smaller menu size now means that the food served is all of the best quality and presentation. Pool table, dart board, regular quiz nights, karaoke and live entertainment all help to make this pub one of the best! Keep doing what you're doing guys!

Excellent 3 course Senior's Meal Deal of 3 couses for £6.49 , plus drinks for less than £30! Will definitely going back.
