He is a very good cook who can make you a good meal for a reasonable price. The house wine is good. The restaurant is not always open, particularly not off-season, and depending on demand. The hotel is small but well built and with good wifi, not very fast but acceptable. Rooms are clean-complete and good size, mostly with a balcony or groundfloor a small terrace. Not very new, but acceptable. Lighting at the entrance to the hotel building is basic (the restaurant and garden are in an other building as well as a parking space, private). The buildings are well constructed and the facilities are very suitable for parties or weddings. Including a nice lawn and porch. Most guests are passing through or have work to do in the area. This is a simple countryside hotel but with a very friendly and good cooking owner. Breakfast for euro six excellent, with tv if you wish.
Une grande salle qui pourrait paraître froide mais qui, décorée de meubles et objets anciens de la campagne, devient coquette et accueillante.Voilà un garçon bourré de talent qui mérite beaucoup mieux que sa production actuelle.Inventif, il travaille à merveille la restauration à base des fruits de la Valloire.Il est même allé enseigner la restauration aux USA... et aujourd'hui, il reste très impliqué localement pour la défense et la promotion de la cuisine du terroir..La partie hôtelière est paraît il tout à fait correct et et agréable. Je n'en connais que l'extérieur.Aujourd'hui il limite son talent, à une excellente cuisine quasi familiale soit un petit menu figurant à l'ardoise sur le comptoir de l'entrée, renouvelé quotidiennement, offrant une entrée, un plat du jour et choix entre 2 desserts... 1/4 de vin en pichet, à un prix sans concurrence.. à une clientèle fidèle d'habitués...Tout est "fait maison" de produits frais locaux....Je regrette cependant l'époque où il frisait le gastronomique, offrant dans une salle l'équivalent d'aujourd'hui et dans une autre, une jolie carte de restauration et une belle carte des vins..Probablement la clientèle locale ne suffisait elle pas à faire vivre la partie noble de ce restaurant... les charges sociales ayant du faire le reste..... dommage..Monsieur en cuisine, Madame en salle... vous offrent pour un rapide repas le midi un fabuleux rapport qualité/prix qu'il ne faut, à aucun prix rater...Allez y.... nombreux.. vous en reparlerez..
