La Grillade Gourmande - Épernay

A favourite restaurant that lives up to its fine reputation. Wonderful and generous service in the charming garden at the back of the restaurant. A magnificent wine list and grilled food to die for .

We ate here on a very busy saturday in May and were pleased to have booked ahead as the restaurant was full. There are several menu options to choose from, or simply à la carte options. The cuisine is solidly french with many different meat options. Our party of four all went for different entrées, mains and desserts and everyone was satisfied with their meals. The prices are quite reasonable and the quantities generous. Service was slow at times, likely due to the huge party that arrived just before us. This restaurant is not a groundbreaking hotbed of innovation, it is however a solid satisfying option in Epernay.

The greedy grill has graciously accepted our demeasured 25-person holiday on the day of the bastille, nothing less! Not only were food and drinks up to the occasion, but the atmosphere and service were unmatched. we were given a private section of their terrace, warmly decorated and strategically designed, so that the conversation and people can easily pass from one table to another. the amusing mouth was delicious and the aperitives a perfect summer celebration. Our main dishes varied from bar to calf, both perfectly tasty and delicate at a time. dessert was a treat appreciated by all. the staff was incredibly attentive and the recommendations on champagne, white wine, red wine and drinks after dinner (yes, we all had them!) were impeccable. coordination of the preparation of meals and service for a group of our size was not a thin matter, but the team did it in a transparent way, with the impression of an intimate party. an introduction to the chef at the end of the evening was particularly wonderful. Thanks to the whole team of the greedy grill – bravo! Bravo!

It is the best-noted restaurant of epernay and to the height of its reputation. kristen and christophe offer a warm welcome that is supported by the waiting team with excellent cuisine. our server was able to arrange a good wine flight and with a total invoice of 120 €, we were extremely happy and impressed by our evening. a big thank you to everyone at the greedy grill and we look forward to a next visit!
