Bidrage med feedbackWe are a large family, ten of whom had lunch on the terrace at le Key West this week. The menu is not overloaded, but with plentiful options and well thought out. The food was all of high quality without being haute cuisine and sensibly priced our total bill was about €250, but didn’t include much in the way of booze . Whilst we will certainly return without our youngest members four under seven to enjoy more of the menu in less child impacted circumstances, it was the thoughtfulness of the staff approach to the little ones that most impressed. Without us asking for it, their meals came out first and the menu enfant was proper food in smaller portions as we had our starters yes, I know they are entrées, but to American readers that means “main course” . The kids’ dessert orders were taken in time for those to come out as we all finished our main courses and were generously garnished with additional treats. The atmosphere was completely child friendly without detracting from the rest of the ambiance for those without small humans in tow. We shall return!
We sat outside in the sunshine. The service was efficient and friendly. Our food was fantastic! Delicious moules in a cream and wine sauce with freshly cooked chips and a mountain ham, mozzarella and tomatoe salad, with just enough balsamic dressing! Most enjoyable and not expensive.
Last minute dine with my wife and kids on a Tuesday night. Typical copy cat of a TGI Friday restaurant less the style. Place is not even booked half but it took ages to get the order taken and more time to be served.... when you know we chose that place for getting a quick service... you can understand my mood. Kudos to the waitress though. She is running like crazy. The place is in organized.... Pass.... if you can. if
This restaurant is based on Hemmingway yes, the writer. When I walked in, I felt like it was a chain restaurant you would find in US suberb, but in a good way. Service is good, place is big and they have nice Salmon and Tuna options and meat options my husband and I like. I have had the menu formula with the salmon tartar and salad instead of frites and my husband had the bone marrow starter with a carpaccio salad. I was actually there before and had the tuna which is hard to find in this region of France and also good. : Good for lunch and dinner and a place to go if you are shopping in Grand Epangy. We will definitely be back.
After having widely consumed, starting at 23h you will be denied a water carafe and especially the new boss explains that the water is cut!!!! (like in the toilet where you can't wash your hands )!110 euros to two !!!! for the service with waitress who are mistaken twice orders for 2 dishes ! all this to eat a hot Milanese escalope, the whole way!!!
