Tepito - Tacos y Tequila - Envigado

Hard to find authentic Mexican food in Medellín but this place is pretty good. Staff is fun, and very laid back.

Normally I'm skeptical about Mexican restaurants, either they overdo their dishes or they lack flavor... This one was a great surprise! The food had an amazing flavor, the presentation was ideal, the taste... Surely will come back!

The food is very tasty and there is a variety of choices, the taste of authentic Mexican flavors and the decor is quiet unique.It is very colorful and cozy, the staff is very accommodating and there is live Mariachi on Fridays, in addition there is also live DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. Operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 12 noon to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays are from 12 noon to 12 midnight and Sundays are from 12 to 5 p.m. There is new ownership and staff very helpful that the staff speaks English. It is definitely a place to visit in Envigado

I eat here often because they have big tacos. the menu is huge and nothing really special, but anthony bourdain once said he loved tongues tacos. they have them here and they are delicious. Nachos aren't like the North American Mexican affair, I wouldn't bother you with the Tacos and Tequila, you can't go wrong.

Es un muy típico lugar mexicano, los viernes con música en vivo.... obvio Rancheras. No soy experta en margaritas, pero es de mis tragos favoritos, y puedo decir, sin temor a equivocarme que el tequila tradicional (coctelera) es de los mejores que he tomado en mi vida. Y lo que más nos atrae es el servicio, te tratan como a sus mejores y más antiguos clientes. Hay una muy buena selección de tequilas. Y la comida muy rica a muy buenos precios. Recomiendo las Chimichangas es una entrada con cara de plato fuerte.
