El Trifasico - Envigado

This is place to enjoy typical Paisa food. Famous for large portions where two, three or even four people can share one single plate. It has become a little pricey, just for a typical food place, but quality, service and food options will make it worth to give it a try. One of the best places to eat Chicharrón in Medellin. You will also have picadas, frijoles and other food options from the paisa tradition. Absolutely Recommended!

This is a great place to visit when in Colombia great for large groups of friends and family. Excellent traditional Colombian cuisine

The food is great and the dishes huge. The tri fasico dish had rather exotic cuts such as cow tounge. I am not too fond of exotic cuts so I did not really enjoy this plate. The bandeja paisa or tipico is outstanding. We were 5 adults and shared two plates and it was perfect. Decoration is not outstanding... but the bandeja paisa incredible!

If you want a real bandeja paisa , this is the place. 100% typical food. You won 't forget their crispy, savoury chicharrón , as well the carne en polvo (powder meat) and the red beans. This was a local business that became famous for its quality and started attracting other restaurants. Today, it is an interesting gastronomy area of the big Medellin.
