Bidrage med feedbackEating is really good taste especially Rose Sangrias and Paellas (some places in Poblado concentrated on Paellas are really bad). Four stars cause waiters are not experienced, they certainly serve good BUT if you have done, they do not clean your table and bring the plates stacking all before you over your main plate. Sounds funny, but is typical for them to bring everyone in touch. Ozobuco, paellas (small or normal size) are the best.
The façade outside is sudden, we decided to enter. The atmosphere, the decor is Spot on. The service spectacular. We were happy after dinner... but when it came, we were completely disappointed. Four tapas ordered can't say anything positive about any of them.
Overpriced, and a Spaniard chef never got near their kitchen. The octopus was rubbery, the tortilla was dry, and the mashed potatoes accompanying my dish were served in a tiny desert plate, as though they were a precious exotic concoction. The wine list is like everything else, mediocre and overpriced. Don't take friends from Spain there.
I didn 't look up this restaurant until after I dined there how had this not been on my radar? After a grueling day of traveling, I wanted to treat myself. I ordered the negra (seafood paella dyed black with squid ink) and the house white one of the best meals I 've had in Colombia, definitely in Envigado. Two thumbs up for ambience: there 's a patio off the street or (my preference) a small terrace in the middle of the restaurant. From where I was sitting, the bar also seemed like a place I 'd want to meet someone for cocktails. It 's pricier (my paellita y copa de vino cost 50.000), but in my opinion well worth the splurge. ¡Buen provecho!
If you fancy Spanish Food, you go to Barcal Restaurant. It is delicious!! The Paella is in the perfect moisture point and the Black Rice or Rice with Squid in its Ink is just amazing. Also ask for the shrimp with garlic.....wow!!!
