Bidrage med feedbackIt's a Whataburger. We had a quick breakfast. The food and service was okay.
The service at this whataburger is absolutely horrible. It took at least 2 minutes till the kids behind the counter stopped chatting and playing on their phones and I was able to place an order. It took another 20 minutes to get my food and to top itoff the fries were soggy. It's so expensive now anyway that for $1 or $2 more you can just go to a sit down restaurant andyou'll probably get your food sooner. I've been to other whataburgers and used to love it back in the day, but I'm never goinginto this one again.
As I wait for my order, I observe employees wearing gloves and handling various items such as trash and equipment, touching walls, and then returning to the food without changing their gloves. I hope that this is not the usual practice for this restaurant.
I have to say that this is the best fast food restaurant in the city of Ennis, Texas. I often go there when I'm hungry, and I hope they renovate the place to attract more customers. However, there is one issue that occurs about 6 out of 10 times when I visit with my sister. On one occasion, we ordered sweet and spicy burgers with onion rings and shakes, but we were told the shake machine was broken. We settled for sweet tea instead, but then they informed us that they couldn't make any more shakes until the truck arrived. We ended up getting soda drinks instead. Our order was repeated accurately, but after waiting for 45 minutes, we realized they had forgotten to add cheese and sauce to our burgers. They also gave us fries instead of the onion rings we had ordered. My sister called corporate to address the issue, but I have noticed similar mistakes happening since then. I am considering getting my friends together to also contact corporate, as the service used to be the best in town until the past 8 months.
The burger was tasty as always, and the onion rings were also delicious. However, it was disappointing that they were out of ketchup in the restaurant. It was ironic to see the tray liner boasting about never running out of ketchup while there was actually none available.
