Steak 'n Shake - Ennis

Cheapest diesel in the system/range on the pilotut card. small parking space. but the steak and shake is great. excellent people, and I must make a special order. that is an extra hurdle. always cheerful, and eating is always excellent.

Good food, and they have a bit of truck parking. Well worth the 5 min detour if your passing by on I-45.

Might be at a gas station but they have a full size restaurant. And what else can I say. It's Steak n Shake. Not been to a bad one yet and this one keeps up with their awesome reputation. Nice thing about this one it's out in the country so no hassle with city traffic.

Food was way to salty and the fries were under cook some raw in the middle. Need more sauce on the burger and less salt. Burger was perfect size for a big appetite. This place needs a little TLC. Great theme but the food needs work. I?m hoping they get it together cause Kaufman needs a good burger place but right now they?re way off base.

The fries were tasty, though incredibly salty. That’s the one positive point I can give. Unfortunately, the burgers were overly dry and poorly constructed; we couldn’t even finish them. The overall atmosphere of the place felt unclean. As for the drinks, we waited so long that we didn’t even bother with them. We ended up just driving down the street to grab some food elsewhere.
