Tony's Italian Kitchen - Englewood

Awful experience. The food was terrible and overpriced, but the service was satisfactory. I usually don't complain, but it seems like they may have a new chef as the dishes had no taste and were overpriced. On January 23rd, 2015, my wife and I dined at this restaurant and were highly disappointed. My wife ordered fettuccine alfredo, which was dry and tasted spoiled. I ordered chicken marsala, but the chicken was dry and the mushrooms were overcooked. While the service was decent, the overall experience was not worth the high prices. We will not be returning.

Do not eat here, the service is terrible. I have tried this restaurant multiple times and have never had a good experience. The staff is arrogant and rude, and the food is bland and tasteless for Italian cuisine. This family-owned restaurant is in need of an update. There are also issues with the employees fighting among themselves. I had hoped that the food would improve as I love Italian cuisine, but it was just as bad as my last visit. Olive Garden offers better Italian food. I have Italian recipes that would outshine Tony's in taste. I have dined here several times and one thing that bothers me is that they charge an extra $2 for sharing a meal.

Very good... If you are looking for a non-chain restaurant in a city full of chain restaurants, this is a great choice! Very small italian restaurant. The gravy makes anything it's served with good. Had the same waiter that people said was rude and thought he was overly nice. I had the clams and veal parm followed up with a canoli They also accept AmEx which is great for people travelling on business.

A nice find when you're in Dayton!. Tony's was a suggestion from the staff at the hotel. I travel to Dayton with very reduced expectations New York, San Francisco Chicago are where I eat the most often The staff was great, the calimari marinara was a wonderful surprise most often you get fried squid it takes more work (pounding to tenderize it if it's going to grilled and served.
