Syros Taverna - Englewood

I have eaten twice in Syros Taverna since November and I must day it is my new favorite restaurant!! The food is delicious and tastes fresh. The hostess is very accommodating and pleasant. I had the same waiter both times. His demon was both consistent. He was very attentive and seems to enjoy his job. I definitely go back!

This is an elegant Greek restaurant. Some of the menu items are a little high in price, but they are well worth the cost. There are a few inexpensive options to choose from as well, in case cost is a major concern. Our meals were everything we could've asked for—fresh food, generous serving sizes and phenomenal taste! We also had a great waitress. She was patient with our questions, as this was our first time having Greek cuisine, and she offered recommendations from the menu. We had an incredible overall experience and plan to return soon!

I visit this lovely place quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I visit this place frequently. The cooking is very good, the staff members are friendly and the prices are fair. I like meeting in this spot to have a tasty supper.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and the fish was incredibly fresh. It was a Wednesday night, and the restaurant was full, which is always a good sign. For starters, we had roasted eggplants and zucchini, as well as grilled octopus. For our main courses, we ordered red snapper for two, porgy (also known as dorado), and sardines—all of which were delightful. The service was excellent as well. Our young waitress was well-trained and attentive. We’re definitely planning to return!

My husband and I visited this restaurant a few months ago, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent! He ordered the chicken, while I had the steak, and they were very accommodating with our dietary preferences, swapping out the stronger ingredients for vegetables. The grilled calamari was absolutely amazing!
