La Stanza - Englewood

We have made memories at La Stanza throughout the years. We've made those memories with our dear friends and our romantic dinners together, the little table beside the railing. Thank you Bill. The bartender you've served us very, very good drinks and we thank you for that. You're the best. And lastly, but not least, thank you for all the wonderful meals. The deliciousness of it, the thought that went into in the hands that prepare them. Enjoy your retirement. You've earned it!

My wife I both had the crab stuffed sole. Hers was fully cooked, but mine was way undercooked...Server was great, the food not so great...

If I could give zero stars I would. We used to absolutely love this place. My husband can not go to the restaurant at the time to enjoy a meal for health reasons, so we tried to order take out. The first time I tried, I was informed they were extremely busy and not taking to go 's. Tonight when I called, Janet answered the phone. As soon as I said I would like to place a take out order, she abruptly told me , we are not doing take out. Goodbye and she hung up on me. We will not try again. What a shame. We heard rumor they have been sold. I am starting to understand why.

Noisy, mediocre food, service would have to get better to be called poor. Wouldn't recommend to people I don't like.

Had Easter dinner there yesterday. I ordered the rack of lamb. It wasn’t a rack of lamb. It was 4 very small and dry chops. Similar to lollipop lamb chops. The atmosphere was ok. Would have been nice with flowers on the tables.
