The Retreat Cafe - England

My daughter and I visited this morning after a recommendation from a coworker. We arrived early and found the place to be very clean with friendly staff, and there’s even an upper floor. We loved being able to see the kitchen, which was impeccable. I had an amazing hot chocolate topped with cream and marshmallows—absolutely delicious, 10/10! My daughter ordered a pot of tea that came with the cutest milk jug, and she also enjoyed toast with butter and jam, which was fabulous. The other meals I saw being served looked amazing, and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks to the wonderful staff for a lovely experience!

A true gem of a breakfast spot! We ended up going back the next day. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and the flavors were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. If you're in Newport, it's a must-visit. You won't regret it!

The coffee and hot chocolate here are fantastic! They come in the most beautifully designed takeaway cups. The lady at the counter is also very friendly.
