Alplerbeizli - Engelberg

I didn't stay for long, but it was a pleasant experience. First of all, the route to the cabin is spectacular. The beer was good, the cabin looked great, I was warmly welcomed, and there was complete tranquility outside. The cabin is about half an hour's walk from Brunnihütte SAC. This place is wonderful and the service and rustic cuisine is perfect. It is a place to recharge your batteries. The recipe: Zuccetti strudel: 200g grated zucchini, squeeze out water, vanilla sugar, 2 tablespoons sugar, 200g cream cheese, 1 egg, raisins, grate lemon peel, stir. Pour the mixture onto puff pastry and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 35 minutes. En goode.

I visited this restaurant on September 11, 2018. The mining industry is self-service. The terrace is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. The hot water for the coffee comes from a thermos bottle, and the cake pieces are wrapped in foil. The chocolate cake was moist and the coffee (ready) was just right! I would definitely come back!
