We mostly go for drinks .. but we went for a family meal . .. the food was absolutely outstandingly delicious.. we ask the front of house to compliment the chef .. of which they replied her name . Which was Kerry … We will definitely be returning for food not just drinks

I came In today for a meal and ordered a mix grill and wow was the best meal I have had in a pub in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection and I could not fault it. Even though the pub was busy it came out in quick time. The chefs name I asked for was kerry and I had to congratulate her on a perfect meal. Would deffo recommend it to anyone wanting the perfect pub meal

Such a good family dinner. Our experience was really great and this happend because someone from staff team looked after us and made our dinner very pleasant. I dont know if this member of staff Naomi was in charge for that evening but i must say she was so great. Thank you Naomi for a wonderful service.

Had a great night, with excellent service from Naomi, she was so welcoming and attentive, a real asset to the stag and hounds.

There was only one member of staff managing the bar and haphazardly serving. The starters were miniscule size and completely tasteless. The fish and chips were terrible, must have been fried at least twice. The place is state of disrepair, dirty and not surprising empty. Will not be going again.
