Kervan Sofrasi - Enfield

Service a bit slow, has a canteen atmosphere, very noisy with clutter. Do think they should play some music to die down the clutter noise. As always food was awesome

I’ve been going to the Kervan chain of restaurants for over a decade. You can’t fault their service or the amazing choice of dishes. We recently went on Christmas Day and the place was absolutely heaving with other families and friendship groups who had also decided not to slave away over hot ovens when you could sit down and enjoy delicious mixed grilled meats, salad and the best Turkish bread in North London.

Kervan is part of a chain of restaurants. And it won the prestige for the delicious Turkish food. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. For any order, they offer salad and hummus from the house as a starter. They also have a variety of delicious desserts.

Kervan is simply the best place in town for lamb chops and ribs. The food was excellent and service was equally good. We orders 3 dishes for the two of us and the order arrived in much less time than expected, which was surprising in a good way as the restaurant seemed quite busy. There are dine in areas outside as well as inside and choice of dishes is great. Tye waiters paid attention to us at appropriate interval. Food is halal for those it matters. Will surely visit again.

Tried this place for first time and loved it. We went on Sunday and it was relevantly busy. Had to park 8 minutes away. Arrived and were offer the choice to have the table outside or inside. We ordered Kavran special, and within few minutes of wait salad, fresh bread were served with Humus and Tzatziki which were nice. The grill was nice despite having little extra salt to our taste. Lamb chops and lamb were exceptional. The kevran special is good for 4-5 adults as it’s bigger than usual turkish restaurants. For desert we had Kunefe and vanilla ice cream which were also good. Overall family enjoyed it and will definitely visit again
