Union Kitchen And Tap - Encinitas

After a long day of hiking mixed with cycling up and down the beach and highway, we stopped in for a bite to eat and were NOT disappointed. This is such a fun bar/restaurant. The music was great, atmosphere lively, and everyone was friendly. The food came out quickly and was delicious, and everything was clean!

The overall vibe of the gaslamp strip is on point and this place fits right in. It’s the type of place where you can’t really go wrong and they didn’t go wrong. Low risk place. Average drinks and average meals. High rating for the overall vibe of the location and restaurant.

Have been to Union several times and has always been great! Visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is always delicious! The corn bread is the best and is a MUST when visiting! There's always a great variety of drinks from beers to cocktails. The vibe is relaxed and comfortable and great for any size party. Friendly service, especially this last time.... Jennifer was super!

When can I come back!!! The steak and the cocktails... all just cooked and created to perfection. Was out for a celebratory dinner, wait staff accommodated our seating request and was prompt, it was more of a leave you to enjoy your night kind of place and the sever kept us looked after without being overly chatty and intrusive... was the perfect night!! Tip: reserve a table.

Do not eat the poke plate. It was basically all avocado sprinked with ahi fish. I love avocado but I wanted a poke plate not a plate full of avocado. Overall a nice place for a date. Good selection of beers and drinks. Server was on the ball. Food is very bland there.
