Bidrage med feedbackThis is my favorite place at the farmers market!! Their Arepa's are sometimes the only reason I go to the farmers market! I typically get the chicken arepa and it's honestly become one of my favorite foods. Also make sure to ask for sauce especially the pesto, they make the already perfect sandwich that much better! I hope they eventually open I store front because they definitely sky rocket. You really need to check this place out!!
This is the real deal! My spouse is Colombian and Arepas are a diet staple plus Maduros and black beans!
And that’s just fine if you’re produce shopping or want to have a variety of ethic noshes. If, however, you’re looking for even a bit more... such as decorative art or handicrafts, then you’ll be disappointed — especially if you have fond memories of the original Leucadia Market of the 1970’s and ‘80’s. I did, so I didn’t enjoy the newer incarnation. (And I was visiting, so I wasn’t shopping for kale. Just so you know.
Good price compared to the other vendors in the Leucadia Farmers market, and also really good food. The $10 combo box was surprisingly filling. Black beans were excellent too.
The Leucadia Farmers ' Market is held on Sundays on the playground of a local elementary school. The market is rather small, but they have a good selection of artisan cheeses and breads, as well as several local produce stands. There are some interesting prepared food stands, too, including sushi and Ghanaian food. Leucadia 's motto is Keep Leucadia Funky ; this is a good place to grab something for lunch, sit at one of the picnic tables, listen to the musicians, and watch the world go by.
