J's Carry Out - Emporia

I recently had my first visit to J's, and it was an incredible experience! As a non-meat eater, I was thrilled to find a delicious grilled cheese packed with vegetables, accompanied by some fries. To my delight, J even brought out two onion rings for me to try! J was fantastic and truly demonstrated what it means to go above and beyond for customers. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

This restaurant offers a nostalgic dining experience with friendly service and some of the best burgers in the city, along with an excellent variety of other dishes. The combination of great food and welcoming staff will definitely have you coming back for more. Thank you, J's! Please don’t ever change.

I love her food! So far my favorite is her Cheeseburger, but I haven't tried everything yet. The staff is friendly. When seats are available, they are quick to clean from the table so that others sit and enjoy their delicious American dishes. The waiters are attentive. Then, the best part: the free ice cone to finish your dinner, yum! Thanks for another good experience, J's!

We love J's. We ate there all the time when we lived in Emporia. My kids still go there for great food. Always stop there when we visit. Everything on the menu is great.

WOW!!!! Food was excellent but the service was extraordinary! ...... Seriously, better service than you would get at an expensive sit down restaurant and totally unexpected at a carryout burger joint. Never let my drink get empty, three different employees asked if everything was good and if I needed anything. And then there's the FREE ICE CREAM......What? Realy? Yes, free ice cream. Any time I am traveling through Emporia I will def stop in for a meal.
