Bidrage med feedbackAs they say, don't judge a book by its cover. This is certainly the case here at Coach's. The exterior of the restaurant is about as unimpressive as possible. A windowless, beige, aging, Restaurant. Once you go inside, it's not as though the restaurant is elegant, but it definitely looks more inviting on the inside than on the outside. Enough about the looks of the place. Let's get on to the important stuff. The food. I really wasn't expecting much as Coach's is basically a sports bar so I figured most people come here for drinks, and to watch games. I ordered the evening special which was a 12 ounce ribeye steak. The steak was a little bit thin, so my order of a medium rare cook was probably a little more toward medium, or medium well. However, the steak was of high quality and very tasty. I had a salad that went with the steak, it was just fine. I had the sweet potato fries, which were well above average very crispy. And it came with an unimpressive side of green beans. For the price of $14.99, I felt like I get a good deal, and a good meal. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and gave us some good guidance about what to order. The staff at the restaurant, as far as I could tell, was welcoming and friendly. Since this week is the glass blown Open disc golf tournament, we decided to avoid the overcrowded restaurants on the Main Street for dinner. We were glad that we did, as Coach's delivered the goods. I definitely plan to come back to this spot in the future.
What can I say about Coachs? So many great memories in that place. We were in E town for a football game and decided to go have dinner before coming back home. We over heard someone next to us say that they heard on the radio that you could get a 1.99 burger after a football game so we asked about it. True! So we all got burgers and shared an order of super fries. The burgers were smaller than their usual burgers but plenty of food. You can't beat that deal. It was weird though that we had to ask about it, and the waitress had to ask, if they are going to advertise on the radio you would think they would offer it up in the restaurant.
The hotel we were staying at recommended coaches bar and grill to the team so they went and it was just glorified barfood nothing special the service was slow we called ahead and told him we were bringing in a baseball team and they only had one waitress bartender/everything upfront
Food was priced appropriately and very good. The sweet potatoes fries were unmaking.
Good atmosphere and great service. Pork tenderloin was pretty good and not obnoxiously big like it can be at some places.
