Mayfair Ridge Tavern - Emerald

Terrible experience, was told to wait 45 minutes for food which we were okay with. Until we waited 1h 45mins for the food, by the time we got the food, the salad was the only thing that was supposed to be cold. Turns out the steak and parmi's were as well. We were not the only ones with this issue. Never again will we bother.

Great service, excellent meals at tavern, cold beer and clean well maintained room. I would definitely recommend to anyone

Used to come here all the time but our family have got food poisoning twice recently. Something must be going seriously wrong in the kitchen. Yuck. Won't be back.

Just don’t ask for black pepper. It’s a flat ‘No’ and the chef gets surely if you ask a second time. If you ring the manager she says she will fix it but doesn’t.

The room needed to be inspected before we could use it, and we found dead cockroaches and a significant amount of ants in the bathroom. My wife had to wear a full-body suit because the surfaces were dusty. The rooms should be stocked with coffee neatly, and the air conditioning display should be adjustable to turn off at night. Additionally, there was a water leak in the shower. We were in room 40.
