Shark's Den Sports Grill - Emerald Isle

The food looked delicious but unfortunately it was very bland. We had to add salt and sauce to everything. The drinks were great. The restaurant looks nice and had little to no wait and the service was good. It was my first and only time there, though, so if I go again and its different, I will edit my review.

It was so cute inside, they had a nice set up. The service was good but the food wasn’t. My wings tasted like absolutely nothing and were for sure overcooked. Everyone I ate with said their food was also bland, no flavor, not even any salt. My fiancé said the tomato on her crab cake sandwich had more flavor than the crab cake itself. Good place to grab a drink though.

Honestly, the worst experience I have had at a restaurant . From the start there was no one at the host stand but a piece of paper with a QR code to join the wait list. The only interaction from staff was being yelled at to shut the door at customers coming in. Then after joining the waitlist and waiting for over the allotted 30 minutes 3 different parties were all seated that came in after my simple family of 4. So, it’s unfair to even give the food one star because we didn’t make it past the door. After waiting for 45 minutes my family left the establishment. I understand being short staffed and in a busy time. My family is more than understanding, but the customer service was the WORST I have ever encountered in any travels. I personally would only suggest eating here if you are not immediately hungry and don’t care at all about service.

Ordered the hammerhead blackened chicken wrap with mild sauce as a meal and asked for no onions or tomatoes and the server read it back to me. Wrap came out and had onions and tomatoes on it so I of course sent it back. The wrap came back out with THE HOTTEST hot sauce I have ever tasted in my life, spice doesn’t usually bother me but I took 4 bites of this wrap and was sweating and crying. After asking for a manager and chef the server refused and I wi NEVER give this restaurant my business again.
