I was in walkersons hotel and spa with my wife for 2 nights recently. when they turn into the winding road that leads them down the way, they immediately feel calm and peaceful. it is a hidden sanctuary that they live away from the hectic of the city, but still give them quality treatment our first night, we were in and had dinner in the flying scotsman restaurant. the restaurant serves a 4-course menu that is freshly prepared by the house chef. eating was great with a lot of options and portion size was more than sufficient. the breakfast was quality and there was a good choice from the menu. Recently, during a stay in this five star hotel, we have some days of eating here from cozy breakfast, relaxed pub lunches to experience their fine dining tasting menus and I could not be impressed by the versatility and the extensive selection of meals offered here. interiors: location, location. this restaurant is located in the landscape of the dullstroom, surrounded by the scenic mpumalanga highlands and some well-stocked trout slabs. what is not to love? the restaurant has several corners and claws to meet their personal seating (e.g. terrace, peggy’s pub or flying scotsman) from which a truly Scottish land manor...read more

I was impressed to hear a afternoon after the conversation with elias that he began to do the hotel maintenance work together with many other workers in the did, and today, he runs both the bar and restaurant like a real pro eating: as mentioned above, from picturesque breakfasts with views of the trouts up to an evening of the fine restaurants served in their flying scotsman, walkersons seem to be for each jumpbok carpaccio with plastered vegetables and melba toast shredded with garlic aioli. Had a nice high tee here on Saturday. we were blown away from professionalism and quality food we had! very pleasant and **** mary is delicious!
