Red Cabin Custard - Ely

First time in Ely and took the family out for dessert. Customer service was good and the custard was satisfactory but the pricing was excessive.

A day agoNEW I personally worked here and wanted to post this to warn anyone who thinks this is a good place to go. This man who owns this business and serves the ice-cream at the window, is a predator. He makes extremely aggressive sexual comments about children that come up with their family 's (telling his employees how he would stick a paper bag on a girls head so he could have his way with her , keep in mind this girl was only about 10 years of age) . What is said behind that glass window is horrifying. He 's no longer allowed to hire employees due to the fact that he cannot help himself but to molest the young girls he hires. If you dont want your child sexualized and looked at like a piece a meat, then I would stay far, far, FAR away from this place.

Homemade custard is fabulous!!! Vanilla and chocolate and a flavor of the day. I could go every day!!! I go every time I'm in town!

It's a thing. Flavors made daily. I've eaten here the last three years on our camping trips and it's always good. If I think about it, it's likely the best ice cream experience we have each year. There's a little cabin shelter if it's raining or you don't prefer the sun (closed during COVID-19). I'm almost ready to say it's the perfect reason to road trip to this beautiful part of the country.
