We were in the winzerhaus in rauenthal 2 days ago. my man and I have known it for over 50 years, but the last few years have not been there because of the former owners. now new owners -> new attempt! and it has really rewarded itself. it has done a lot. the interior has been redesigned without losing the old house army, as well as there is a nice cupboard.On the map you will find new, varied dishes such as grater cakes with salmon.But: really note the grandiose service. a young man, sebastian, served us all night with a smile in the face, was friendly, attentive, courteous, quick, could very well advise and had despite full terrace all guests in the eye. we were delighted. we even thought he was a fan, but when he told us that he was doing this pure as hobby, our enthusiasm was even greater. such a grandiose service is rare in rheingau and beyond. big praise and alone for him it is worth coming back. lg

So: since we have eaten very tasty and drank fine wine, the winzerhaus rauenthal cannot be closed, as yelp claims. ;)-nettes aim after a hike (e.g. 2 hours the highly recommended rauenthaler Scheife).

From the decor we were totally excited, I know the local as it was 20 years ago, a traditional house decorated in dark wood, now harmonizes everything with each other, it has a very cozy atmosphere and we were very attentively served, the kitchen is very creatiw and the eating correspondingly beautifully decorated, i.e. the houseman's cos is modernly interpreted and tasted very well, it is very well looked after b. to refresh after a hike in the rheingau, deo-spray etc.
