Bidrage med feedbackWe got a lovely welcome with compliments for our 3 young daughters. Our order arrived. The two adult drinks were nice but not warm. The kids milkshake seemed ok but neither of them drank more than a mouthful. The scones were good. Our 7 year old had a hot chocolate that unfortunately she spilt. The gushing compliments evaporated and we were made to feel extremely unwelcome. For adults worth going but not with kids in our experience. The hot food menu looked delicious and as locals we would have returned had the spillage been handled differently.
This restaurant has a great location, very relaxed vibe. Nice deck overlooking traffic. But food took a very long time. I ordered a shepherds pie with salad, was a pre-made pie, very small and handful of rocket. Was fine but not for 40mins wait. Soup was a pretty good size. Country style vegetables soup.
This cafe is a hidden gem that serves amazing tea and coffee, but it's the enticing aroma of the Jamaican cook's home cooking that sets it apart. While there may be a bit of a wait, taking the time to unwind and savor the atmosphere is well worth it for the delicious food.
Love this little place .... ample parking nearby, wonderful home-cooked and flavoursome food, friendly service from the lovely Charmaine..... and a few little bargain gift items such as scarves and bags!!! The Jamaican Corn Fritters with avocado and bacon and chutney was fabulous as were the home-baked scones.Well worth a visit if you are visiting the pretty riverside town of Warrandyte.
EXCELLENT coffee food and service!!! Really nice homecooked food with amazing flavor, with warm freindly atmosphere!!!
