Sarku Japan - Elmhurst

Here’s my honest review: I would rate it a 4 out of 5. Back in 2008, if there hadn't been other Japanese restaurants nearby, I would have given it a perfect 5. However, competition has increased, and aside from a few standout items, the overall experience is good but not exceptional. I tried the Bento box, which is a new addition to the menu, but I've had better elsewhere. This restaurant has always been a solid choice for Japanese cuisine, which is why I enjoyed it a lot in the past. However, after exploring a wider range of options, it just doesn't measure up anymore.

Vee Eats is a great spot for chicken teriyaki with white rice and vegetables. I ordered through Uber Eats and have a habit of requesting extra sauce on the chicken (which I always note), but thankfully, the dish tastes great regardless, and I’ve never been disappointed.
