Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely love small pancakes. I stumbled upon this place unexpectedly and discovered a hidden gem, so I decided to give it a try. I sat down and even ordered some steamed vegetable dumplings. The hot sauce oil they served was excellent—really delicious!
The dining room is decorated with banners and flags, reminiscent of a grand opening—whether these are remnants of a recent launch or simply festive decorations, it’s hard to say, especially since the restaurant moved over a year ago from its previous location. The menu is straightforward, and with a clientele that is 100% Chinese, you can bet that Lao Bei Fang knows what it's doing. The prices are fantastic, and the dumplings and noodles are delightful. The fried pork and leek dumplings are a great deal at $1.50 for four or $2.75 for eight; they’re tasty, if not earth-shattering. They do the job, and honestly, who can complain about a satisfying meal that costs less than three dollars? While the restaurant may boast about its offerings, I noticed that most patrons were enjoying their noodle soups. You can also hear the sounds of hand-pulled noodles being made right in front of you, as the lively motions of throwing, twisting, and pulling the noodles add to the vibrant atmosphere. We ordered the beef noodles for just $5.
The restaurant offers a great selection of food for the price. The dumplings were juicy and not dry, although the only option available was pork. The noodles were fresh and had a nice chewy texture. The only downside is that they use MSG, but overall, it was a good experience!
One of my favorite places will go to emptying to go places, I went with my cousin and his girlfriend because she had believed to fool herself. The place is quite large, so it's easy to find a table here. I'll tell you if you're looking for a Fried dumplings or a Boiled dumplings, maybe Steam dumplings or maybe another type of dumplings will find your place. Structure of the dumplings and taste are phenomenal and the price for it makes it even better. The staff is fine, only bad things in this place is a cash only space. You can also find all the time or knights and noodle soup here, although the place is called a dump house, you can also find all kinds of Asian dishes. Parking for those who have car is a bit heavy.
This is a hole in the wall. Come here for great food, not 5 star dining atmosphere. Cafeteria-style seating. Very authentic food. If you tell them spicy, be prepared for real spicy (which to me is amazing). As someone who loves and always gets spicy food, even I was tearing up at the end. No tipping! The dumplings took a while to come out which means it is fresh. The chef was hand-pulling noodles the whole time. I am so glad I stumbled on this place for cheap, authentic, delicious Chinese and only wish I lived closer!
