The Jolly Farmer - Elmbridge

This restaurant is perfect for those who live nearby, as parking can be limited. However, they serve excellent pints and have music nights as a bonus.

Great night and lovely atmosphere. There was a live singer who was fantastic. Highly recommend. Wish they also served chips rather than a packet of crisps as we hadn't eaten!

Decent local pub with friendly staff and locals. Limited choice of beers and agree with a previous review one of many pubs that seem to have adopted the ‘London’ (short) pint as it used to be called. Bit of music now and then too.

The pub offers a great selection of well-maintained real ales in addition to the usual choices. It is known as one of the best value places to drink in the area, with plenty of comfortable seating inside and a much-improved garden. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. However, the consistent issue of short measures for both spirits and beer is a drawback. It has happened so frequently that it seems like a deliberate policy rather than a mistake by the staff. I often have to ask for my beer to be topped up, and the pouring of spirits is rushed, with the next measure starting before the optic is fully refilled. Additionally, the use of sparklers on the beer pumps to create a "northern pint" with a creamy head is not to everyone's taste, as it can affect the quality of the beer and make it difficult to serve a full pint.

Don’t go if you have a family, they turned us away as we had a young child. The manager rudely used the excuse that they couldn’t because of COVID, I thought things were back to normal with restrictions lifted.
