The onion soup was less flavorful than it used to be; it had a watery consistency. However, the burger was excellent and cooked perfectly. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in ownership, but the food definitely tastes different than before. I'm starting to doubt if I’ll make the journey for my once-favorite soup, which is no longer exceptional.

A friend and I dine at Shannon 's 4 times a year. We like to sit at the bar. I arrived 15 minutes early and saved a seat. Another couple arrived and asked if the seat was taken. Bartender did not ask, but told me to remove my jacket from the seat next to me,and said we don 't save seats here . I 've never had that issue before, and would never save a seat for more than 15 minutes. Soinstead of getting 4 tips, he got 2. He certainly lacks good people skills. I moved to the restaurant side and we had the usualgreat food as well as a great and very pleasant server. Unfortunately though, we won 't be returning to Shannon 's.
