I discovered Eggspectation while searching for a new dining spot, and it was definitely worth the hour's drive from our home. The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, and we waited about 15 minutes for a table, which seemed reasonable given how packed they were. My husband ordered the Bayou Benedict, and I chose the Shrimp and Grits. We were both very satisfied with our meals—delicious, hot, and expertly prepared. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the entire staff was attentive and polite. We were extremely impressed and can’t wait to come back again.

If you go on the weekend, be prepared to wait around 30-40 minutes. This place is new, and I really like the black and white decor. It has a bright and airy atmosphere. The staff was very pleasant, and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. There were many food options to choose from, and everything was well-presented and delicious. I ordered an omelette, and the potatoes were soft but crispy. I will definitely return.
