Canyon River Grill - Ellensburg

It was great as per usual. Wish I would have known one can reserve individual tables through the app. Will do it next time. Love the food and the staff at this joint. One of my favorites and I live in Seattle.

The Canyon Grill is consistent in maintaining the quality and variety of entrees and it’s excellent service provided by dedicated staff members.

Setting is nice. Good view of river. Young man in the tackle shop was helpful and kind. Waitress was RUDE! Argued about the number of people in the reservation, which had been confirmed via phone that morning. Flipped out because two people moved to different seats, (at same table simply to visit others in our group while awaiting for our dinner. Was a hot day. Dinning room was uncomfortably warm; even though the Mimi-Split (A.C. was on. Waitress was moving diners silverware during the meal. Meal was less than desirable. All who had the Cod agreed it was tasteless. The Tangy Coleslaw was not tangy, it was smothered in chili powder. Even the Tarter-sauce was spicy hot. Even the young child who ordered noodles with butter, said they were not good, which was confirmed by an adult. Upon preparing to leave the dinning area, we realized the gas fireplace was actually producing heat. One person in our party said, “I think she was trying to run us out!” To which the waitress replied “Yes!” Sadly was not a pleasant experience.

Great atmosphere to escape the heat and get some food! Eli is awesome, great service and a wonderful cup of coffee! Highly recommend!

Very special place! The food is excellent and be sure to try the special cocktails. Fabulous mixologist who uses fresh ingredients in his wonderful concoctions.
