Canyon River Grill - Ellensburg

This magic grill will tell you to smile your family friends about your wonderful experience! The staff was super courtesy considering that the facility was recommended for reservation on their website. We need to sit barside a charming bartender who was very helpful to ensure that we silverware our order was quickly taken. I felt very welcome here. I ordered the cod chips. 5/5 Bartender made us a surprise alcohol-free drink. The atmosphere was 5/5 cleaning professional 5/5 food quality for the price. The atmosphere was amazing and the interior was freshly earthy. The bathrooms were clean.

Wild copper flow salmon in its finest. Halibut with seasonal forged Morels. Chef Kevin Hand brings his products professionally into an excellent presentation. Joe and Philip offer classic cocktails or experimental masterpieces for the more adventurous.

Wonderful food! Friendly service. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Nice view doesn't hurt either.

Very nice atmosphere on the river. We are out on a beautiful sunny day. Unfortunately, the seats are small compared to the massive railing, so that the water is not visible when it sits outside. Higher tables and/or a transparent railing would allow Diner to see the beautiful river. I think the river is visible when it sits inside. Appetizers and Entrées were amazing. I loved the shrimp appetizer. My wife had the cherry/living salmon dish and loved it. Similarly, I liked NY Steak with carmelized Shijitake mushrooms, although I'm usually not a fungus fan. Steak had more grin than I expected at this price. Service was excellent and I liked that we had a reservation for indoors or outdoors. We will definitely be back!!

It was surreal to have such a fine dining experience smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Gorgeous setting great service and spectacular food. The apparently the chef owned a handful of restaurants in Seattle that he had to close during the pandemic. The food really is amazing.
