Frank's Pizza - Elkins Park

I believe any employee, particularly a manager, should answer the phone with their name. Instead, I awkwardly introduced myself, leading to an uncomfortable silence where I had to ask for his name, which started with a "D." I was taken aback but remained composed, as I was in front of guests. One of my guests kindly offered to pick up the pizzas, so I decided to go ahead with the order. Unfortunately, the pizza was terrible. Even my kids, who usually eat anything, complained about the burnt crust and the cheese texture, which was more like clumps than a smooth melt. It simply wasn’t worth it, and to make matters worse, about ten people who were at our house experienced the same bad pizza. I plan to inform our realtor about this experience as it was excellent working with her, and she might want to recommend a local business that better reflects the quality of this wonderful community.

Avoid the special; it's a total scam! I ordered the 2 for $20 deal and requested two of the three-cheese white pizzas. They said there would be an extra charge for additional cheese, which I agreed to. However, they ended up delivering one three-cheese pizza and one plain pizza instead. When I called to address the issue, they claimed they had taken my order down incorrectly and promised to deliver the correct pizza. A different guy, who apparently took my order, showed up to defend himself, insisting that I had requested a plain pizza (which I did not). He then stated that it would cost an extra $4 to correct the order, despite the fact that I had already paid extra for the additional cheese. Ultimately, I ended up paying over $30 for what was supposed to be a $20 meal. Total scam!

To make a long story short, I packaged the leftover slices up and took them back to the restaurant. The owner claimed there was nothing wrong with them, but when I pointed out the burnt bottoms, he insisted that this is simply how they prepare their pizza. Frustrated, I told him he could keep the subpar slices. The takeaway from this experience is clear: if you enjoy burnt pizza, then Frank's pizza is for you. If not, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Awful customer service. Ordered pizza at 8:45. Got there at 9:05 and they were closed. Not enough service to wait for a customer to pick up their pizza. They deserve to lose the sale Update: This place continues to have the worst customer service I 've ever seen. Open until 9 but stops answering call at 8:30. Drive there to order at 8:40 and they say they 're closed. Posted 9:00 closing time, door open , and sign says Open . I came back here to support local business, but they don 't support their customers. NOT WORTH IT. They 'll never get a buck from me again. And I 've order4ed 1-2 pizzas a week.
