Bidrage med feedbackReminded me of a pizza shop with beer options. I highly recommend upgrading the food menu to go along with the fun beer selections. Maybe some queen of heart tarts , tea sandwiches , heartcharcuterie board, jabberwocky wings , hatter clam chowder, dodo chicken sandwich, off with the bread salad etc.
Great place to go for lunch, great hoagies and warm food. Every now and then they will have baklava which is one of my favorite treats!
Yelp Central has asked me to review this business three times already. Although it appears that it no longer exists in this form, I have not spoken with management to determine it's actual status, and am not in position to notify Yelp of its current circumstances. All I can say is that it appears that the Creek Side Market now consists of three separate businesses: Creek Side Restaurant Deli, Haven Local and Cheshire Brewery. They share a common dining area and are symbiotic to the extent of trying not to duplicate menus and helping out with products one may not have that are available next door. For example, Haven Local didn't sell hot coffee and directed me to the deli across the room for it, and they were happy to oblige. I also saw a guy with a meal from Haven Local sitting at the Cheshire bar and chowing down while chatting with a woman who appeared to be running the brewery. Why not down a cold one while scarfing down a large Sunday brunch?! So, until the powers that be of this laid back comfort zone decide to update Yelp with their intentions, we can all continue to take advantage of all the goodies being offered there.
Best Reuben around.I came here to try out restaurants in Elkins Park outside of Philadelphia. I was actually headed somewhere else but the place was closed, and we decided to look for a Jewish deli.We only tried a few things today, but the red/purple potato salad and the Pastrami Reuben are top notch. The coffee was also quite pleasant, but standard. The Ruben was packed with meat and had the perfect balance of seasoning. Not too salty, just enough to keep you going for another bite. The potato salad had some subtle sweet herbs I hadn't tried before, possibly a type of seed mixed in. It wasn't overly sweet or salty, just had a very cold and fresh taste, better than I have generally had before. I'm not a potato salad person but this was a good meal and really hit the spot.Prices are ok, standard for this post-covid world, but as a Friday morning treat, this was a good trip. The restaurant/deli is known more for the mix of Jewish, Israeli, Middle-Eastern, and Mediterranean foods that are featured. Nevertheless, the Pastrami Reuben is a classic that you should try if you've never had a good one before. Other people add too much salt, not enough meat, don't toast the sandwich up enough, etc., but the gentleman working here really understands a good sandwich.
Great place to have different variety of foods to pick up also nice bar and karaoke on Wednesday nights
